Tasha Onwuemezi

Tasha is a copy-editor and proofreader living in London. She graduated from the University of Southampton in 2015 with a degree in English Literature.

A journalist by trade, Tasha is fascinated by words and stories in their many forms and has worked on a range of different books from romance to crime. She also has in-depth knowledge of the publishing industry, having worked for leading trade magazine The Bookseller.

If Tasha were stranded on a desert island, the two historical novels she would want with her are Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi, a beautifully written, captivating novel that spans seven generations of one family, and Heather O’Neill’s roaring and heartbreaking 1920s-set The Lonely Hearts Hotel.
